The palette

Eight families of green.

Every stone in the store belongs to one colour family. Imperial Green sits at the vivid end; the others are equally natural expressions of demantoid.

Questions

Common questions.

Is Imperial Green a laboratory grade?

No. Imperial Green is a Persian Demantoid designation for our most vivid, saturated stones. It is not an internationally standardised grade, and it never replaces a stone’s own description or an independent report.

Why does demantoid look different in different light?

Colour is a response to light. Daylight, LED and warm incandescent light emphasise different parts of the spectrum, so a demantoid can appear cooler or warmer. Always view a stone in more than one environment.

What gives demantoid its green colour?

Demantoid is the green variety of andradite garnet. Its colour is attributed mainly to chromium and iron within the crystal structure.

Can I browse only Imperial Green stones?

Yes — the store colour filter shows every stone in the Imperial Green / Vivid Green family. Open the filtered store.
